were a number of changes in the University and we are excited to be working with the new Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Julie Wong and the new Interim Dean of Students, Deb Coffin.

We all look forward to fun filled fall semester!  Just remember, we are first students, and second sorority members.  While we are excited to go through a fall recruitment, keep in mind your classes and sisters and be sure to support both.  Best of luck and feel free to drop by the Greek Office in UMC 122/123!

This is a very                  exciting time                  for our comm-

unity!  Over the                  past few years, with a number of changes and commitments to our responsibility and safety, we have received fall recruitment back!  This means big change and we appreciate everyone coming back a week early to move the freshmen in.

A number of the Panhellenic board members worked hard this summer to start the recruitment planning process and we are getting ready to welcome new women, once again, to our chapters.  Although a majority of the summer was spent planning for recruitment, we have worked on a number of other

things for the coming semester.  In April, each chapter and the University agreed to and signed the Standards of Excellence, the document in which we keep our affiliation with the University.  The Greek Office also welcomed Tina Wilkins, a graduate student, who will be helping us out throughout the semester, and Kari Anderson of Delta Delta Delta as the Greek Life Coordinator.

This summer has also brought the beginnings of a Boulder Police Department (BPD) and the sororities’ liaison program.  The community expressed a desire for a stronger relationship with the BPD and thus Panhellenic has begun the conversations to facilitate this new program.  Also, there

It’s the comfort of always having people in your corner.  It’s that proverbial friend for life.  It’s the support system that allows you to know that you will never be alone.  Sisterhood in our Panhellenic Sororities is about these moments, these meanings these relationships, and more.

Our women share this special bond that can never be broken.  It is not a bond that is limited to just one chapter, it is a bond that exists across the entire Panhellenic Community.

Recently our sisterhood shinned at Summerfest where our women came together for a day in the sun.  With community artwork, field games, and a dunk tank women from all chapters had a chance to reunite with all of their

sisters to share summer stories, relax and most importantly have fun.

welcome back ladies!
